Torben Müsel is a 23-year-old attacking midfielder and forward for Borussia Mönchengladbach. Müsel was born on July 25, 1999 in Grünstadt, Germany, and spent his youth career playing for SV Obersülzen until 2006, when he moved to the youth academy of 1. FC Kaiserslautern. He signed his first professional contract with Kaiserslautern ahead of the 2017-18 season, and made his professional debut for the club on September 25, 2017 in a 5:0 away defeat against 1. FC Union Berlin in the 2. Bundesliga. After Kaiserslautern was relegated to the 3. Liga, Müsel signed with Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he has made 46 appearances since 2018. Müsel also played on loan to Belgian side Eupen in 2022, and made 7 appearances for Germany’s U18, U19, and U20 squads, scoring 2 goals.
