Noah Katterbach is a 20-year-old left-back for 1. FC Köln. Katterbach was born on April 13, 2001 in Simmerath, Germany, and spent his youth career playing for TuS DJK Dreiborn from 2004 to 2008, and then joined Köln’s youth academy at the under-8 level. In 2018, he was awarded the Fritz Walter Medal in Gold, which honors the best German player under 17. His senior career continued at Köln beginning in 2019, and on October 5th of that year he made his professional debut for the club in a 1:1 draw with Schalke, making him the youngest player to appear in the Bundesliga that year. Katterbach has also made 28 appearances for Germany’s U16, U17, U18, U19, U20, and U21 squads since 2017, scoring 2 goals.
