​Jan Zimmermann is a 32-year-old goalkeeper for Eintracht Frankfurt. Zimmermann was born on April 19, 1985 in Offenbach, West Germany, and spent his youth career playing for Kickers Obertshausen from 1991 to 1994 and Eintracht Frankfurt from 1994 to 2004. His senior career continued at Eintracht Frankfurt until 2010, SV Darmstadt 98 from 2011 to 2014, 1. FC Heidenheim from 2014 to 2016, 1860 Munich from 2016 to 2017, and Eintracht Frankfurt again starting in 2017. After signing his current contract with Eintracht Frankfurt through 2019, Zimmermann said that the club had never left his head and his heart
