David Raum is a 25-year-old left midfielder and left back for RB Leipzig. Raum was born on April 22, 1998 in Nürnberg, Germany, and spent his youth career playing for Tuspo Nürnberg from 2002 to 2006, and SpVgg Greuther Fürth from 2006 to 2017. His senior career continued at Fürth, where he made 110 appearances for Greuther Fürth and Greuther Fürth II between 2016 and 2021, scoring 5 goals. He then spent one season at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, scoring 3 goals in 32 appearances. He joined his current club on July 31, 2022 on a 5-year deal. Raum also played for Germany’s U-19 and U-20 squads before debuting for Germany’s senior squad in a 6:0 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification win over Armenia on September 5, 2021.
