Luca Netz is an 18-year-old left-back for Borussia Mönchengladbach. Netz was born on May 15, 2003 in Berlin, Germany and spent his youth career playing for FSV Bernau until 2010 and Hertha BSC from 2010 to 2020. His senior career continued at Hertha, where he made his professional debut on January 2, 2021 in a 3:0 win over FC Schalke 04. He scored his first Bundesliga goal on February 13, 2021 in a 1:1 draw against VfB Stuttgart. After making 15 appearances for Hertha BSC and Hertha BSC II, he joined his current club, where he has made 6 appearances for both the senior squad and Borussia Mönchengladbach II, scoring 1 goal. Netz has also made 24 appearances for Germany’s U15, U17, and U21 squads since 2018, scoring 5 goals.
