Jordan Beyer is a 20-year-old defender/right back for Borussia Mönchengladbach. Beyer was born on May 19, 2000 in Kempen, Germany, and spent his youth career playing for DJK-SV Thomasstadt Kempen until 2012, Fortuna Düsseldorf from 2012 to 2015, and Borussia Mönchengladbach from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, Beyer was promoted to Gladbach’s first team under coach Dieter Hecking, where he made his professional debut in the first round of the DFB-Pokal. He signed his first professional contract in September 2018, and in his first season made 9 appearances in the Bundesliga and 4 appearances for the second team in the Regionalliga West. Beyer has also made 17 appearances for Germany’s U16, U17, U18, U19, and U21 squads since 2015.
