Johannes Flum is a twenty-eight-year-old midfielder for Eintracht Frankfurt. Flum was born in 1987 in Waldshut, West Germany, and began playing football for FC Rot-Weiß Weilheim in 1992. He transferred to SV 08 Laufenburg in 2000 and finished his youth career at SC Freiburg from 2001-2006. His senior career included stints at SC Pfullendorf from 2006 to 2008 and SC Freiburg from 2008 to 2012, and he has been with Eintracht since 2013. Flum scored Freiburg’s 500th Bundesliga goal in 2011, and since joining Eintracht has scored 3 goals in 38 appearances. While recovering from a serious knee injury this year, Flum said in an interview that while the experience has not changed him, he has learned to be a little more patient.
