Several of Saturday’s matches will involve clubs that separated by only 1 match or less in the table. The contest between Bayern and hosts Gladbach, however is not 1 of them. Gladbach is now 4 points clear of Bayern in the table, thanks to 9 wins out of 13 league matches prior to Saturday, and is anticipating the return of center-back Matthias Ginter following an injury. Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski has failed to score in his last 2 Bundesliga outings, and his club lost to Leverkusen last weekend.
